Uptown Links: Renovations in Full Swing at Riverbank State Park, and More



• Much-needed renovations to the track and field at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park, including new surfacing, began earlier this month. The work should be completed sometime in June. [@dennyfarrellriverbankstatepark]


• Nineteen new carshare parking spaces for those using Getaround, Truqit and Zipcar will be installed across Harlem over the next two weeks. [Patch]


• Two uptown subway stops are getting new Customer Service Centers by the end of the year: the 125th Street 4, 5, 6 station and the 168th Street 1, A, C station. In the novel setup, designed to help with OMNY, MTA agents will walk around and assist passengers outside of booths. [MTA]


• Safety improvements are coming to the Harlem River Driveway from W 155th St to the Harlem River Drive on-ramps, including ADA compliant ramps, resurfaced bike lanes and updated roadway markings. [@NYC_DOT]


• Hamilton Heights staple Flor de Broadway, known for its Cuban sandwiches and more, has closed. [Eater New York]
