Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church on East 126th Street

• Harlem churches with dwindling congregations are struggling with the area's development boom–Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church on East 126th Street, set to be demolished and replaced by condos, being the latest. Some churches have found success leasing (instead of selling) the land under their original buildings and creating new sanctuaries nearby.
