New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center on 168th Street in Washington Heights is treating a patient who has the coronavirus.
The 50-year-old man from Westchester, NY, is the second confirmed coronavirus case in New York.
The hospital made the announcement earlier today via social media.
"We have been planning and preparing for this situation, and are following rigorous, CDC-recommended isolation procedures for the health and safety of all our patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors," reads part of the statement.
