Where to Roller Skate in Harlem

Where to Roller Skate in Harlem in Riverbank State Park
The roller skating rink at Riverbank State Park is now open.

With roller skating surging in popularity, many of New York City's iconic ice rinks—including the ones in Rockefeller Center and Central Park—have morphed into roller rinks this summer.

But Harlem's been ahead of the game. The roller skating rink at Riverbank State Park (Riverside Drive and 145th St)—also an ice rink in the winter—has been in operation during the summers since the park first opened in 1993.

The covered outdoor rink is currently welcoming roller skaters six days a week, complete with two 18-and-older sessions.
