The Roller Skating Rink in Riverbank State Park Reopens for the Season This Weekend

Roller skating season is back in Harlem.
The roller skating rink in Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park reopens to the public on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The covered outdoor rink—which doubles as an ice rink in the winter—will welcome visitors every day except Thursday, including two 18-and-older sessions.
To get there, enter the park at Riverside Drive and 145th Street and follow the main road to the rink.
The schedule, per signs posted in the park (see below), is as follows:
Mondays & Tuesdays (all ages) 4pm-7pm
Wednesdays & Fridays (18+) 6pm-9pm
Saturdays & Sundays (all ages) 1st session: 1pm-4pm
2nd session: 6pm-9pm
Holidays
1st session: 11am-2pm
2nd session: 3pm-6pm

Admission is $2 and skate rentals are $6 per person. No reservation is required.
