The city-wide Summer Streets program is coming to Manhattan for the next three Saturdays with an exciting new route that stretches all the way to Inwood.
The car-free event, scheduled from 7am-3pm on August 2, 9 and 16, will start at its usual point by the Brooklyn Bridge and extend all the way to Dyckman Street for the very first time.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to make their way up Lafayette Street and Park Avenue to 110th Street, across 110th to Broadway, and then up to Dyckman Street.
A rest stop along Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd from 110th to 125th Streets in Harlem will feature performances, wellness activities and other programming.
Also for the first time, Bike New York is also hosting a free guided group ride on Saturday, August 2 from Worth Street to Inwood. Be sure to register here.
