The Classical Theatre of Harlem has returned to Marcus Garvey Park this month with a free outdoor production of the original comedy "Malvolio."
In this imagined sequel to Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" written by Betty Shamieh, Malvolio has become a general who seeks vengeance on those who made him suffer two decades ago.
In keeping with the mission of CTH, the story is told through the lens of the African diaspora.
The play, which opened on Saturday, July 8, runs through July 29 (Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:30pm).
Seating in the amphitheater is first come, first served, so be sure check the weather and make your plans.
