The Ice Skating Rink in Central Park's North End Is Back Open for the Winter
The ice skating rink in Central Park's north end is back for the winter season.
The Gottesman Rink at the Davis Center reopened today, offering an array of programs such as Community Skate, Learn to Skate, Hockey, and Freestyle Figure Skating.
Special events have resumed as well, with the first Harlem Nights—featuring a live DJ—scheduled for this Saturday, November 7.
Visitors can warm up in the large indoor space alongside the rink, complete with picnic benches and public restrooms.
The snack bar inside, operated by Harlem's Settepani, is typically open from 9am to 3pm.
Hours vary by day. Check the calendar for times.
Admission is $10 (peak)/$5 (off-peak) for adults, $5 for children ages 4-16, and free for children under 3.
Skate rentals are $10.
The oval will will transform into a pool next summer.
