
Six spots in Upper Manhattan will join dozens more across the city in becoming car-free "Trick or Streets" this Halloween.
The locations—a mix of existing Open Streets and other public spaces—will be open from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, October 31 and feature special activities and extended hours for trick-or-treaters, it was announced today by the Department of Transportation.
The "Trick or Streets" coming uptown are as follows, from south to north:
East Harlem La Marqueta, E 115th Street and Park Avenue (partner: Uptown Grand Central)
Central Harlem W 120th Street between Mt. Morris Park West and Lenox Avenue/Malcolm X Boulevard (partner: Marcus Meets Malcolm)
Central Harlem W 139th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Frederick Douglass Boulevards
Washington Heights Wadsworth Avenue between W 176th and W 177th Streets
Washington Heights W 196th Street between Broadway and Ellwood Street (partner: City College Academy of the Arts)
Inwood Quisqueya Plaza, Dyckman Street between Broadway and Seaman Avenue (partner: Dyckman Gardens)
