The carousel also has terrific views of the Hudson River.

At heart, the ride is a spectacular piece of public art—artist Milo Mottola based his funky flamingos, octopuses and other animals on drawings by local elementary school students.

As a bonus, the carousel also has amazing views of the Hudson River.
