Saturday, September 12 at 10am

Washington Heights 99 Margaret Corbin Drive, Fort Tryon Park

"Get ready to cross the threshold into the Middle Ages," reads a recent message from the Met Cloisters announcing it is finally reopening this weekend. All visitors must wear face coverings, practice social distancing, and have their temperature checked.




Saturday, September 12 at noon

East Harlem 1230 Fifth Ave between E 104th and E 105th Sts

El Museo is reopening with the new exhibition "Taller Boricua: A Political Print Shop in New York," featuring paintings, drawings, collages and more by the founding members of the Puerto Rican Workshop. All visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing. Reserve your ticket in advance if you can.




Saturday, September 12 noon-5pm

West Harlem Updated location: in Upper Riverside Park near 151st St

This brand-new outdoor community swap, a collaboration between two local mutual aid networks, is accepting and donating same-day clean children's and adult clothing, diapers, household items and more.




Saturday, September 12 1pm-9pm

Fieldtrip, 109 Malcolm X Blvd between W 115th and W 116th Sts

In this special collab, Mikey Likes It is teaming up with Fieldtrip on a half waffle ice cream sandwich featuring black China rice pudding ice cream on a black rice pudding waffle.




Saturday, Sept 12 at 9:30am and 10:45am Marcus Garvey Park

Sunday, Sept 13 at 10am 110th and Central Park West

Register on the website for Harlem Cycle's two pop-up classes in Marcus Garvey Park this Saturday and its FREE Group Bike Ride on Sunday. More are scheduled later this month.
