The Uptown Night Market Is Back This Week

Here's the latest info on the Uptown Night Market coming to West Harlem
The Uptown Night Market is back this Thursday, August 22.

This month's Uptown Night Market, postponed because of the weather, has a new date—and it's coming up soon.

The popular outdoor festival, featuring up to 80 local vendors hawking food, drinks and merch set to live music, returns to West Harlem this Thursday, August 22 from 4pm to 10pm (then it's back to its regular schedule: every second Thursday of the month through October).

The event will be in its usual spot under the arches on 12th Avenue from W 133rd Street to W 135th Street.

Vendors this season have included Mr. Chopped Cheese, Downeast Lobstah, and Sam's Fried Ice Cream, to name just a few.

Look for live soul from the Harlem Collective, curated by Harlem Late Night Jazz, on the main stage starting at 6pm.

Coming by subway? Take the 1 train to 125th St or 137th St. Entrance is free.
