NYC Restaurant Week is here, and 35+ uptown eateries are taking part

More than 35 uptown eateries are participating in the latest round of NYC Restaurant Week (which actually runs for five weeks), featuring set lunch and dinner menus for $21 and $39 you can enjoy in-person or via takeout and delivery.


The restaurants taking part range from classic soul food gem Miss Mamie's Spoonbread Too (the $39 dinner includes seafood gumbo and rosemary lamb chops) to sunny Italian spot Bono Trattoria ($39 gets you a salad, a pizza, and a sautéed chicken breast with lemon and artichokes).


Buunni Inwood, a coffee shop that recently introduced a food menu, is joining for the first time with a $21 lunch that includes a kale salad, a traditional Ethiopian vegan plate, and a tropical rice pudding.


The biannual event runs through August 22.
