Atlanta's hottest vegan chef is teaming up with Harlem's Shake Shack on a special burger for one day only.
Pinky Cole, the woman behind the plant-based burger phenom Slutty Vegan (and before that her eponymous restaurant in Harlem), is collaborating with Shake Shack's 125th Street location on a vegan burger that will be available this Wednesday, August 11.
The SluttyShack ($8.49) features a Shake Shack veggie patty done up the Slutty Vegan way, including toppings such as Slut Dust (the restaurant's proprietary vegan seasoning), lemon ginger kale, caramelized onions, vegan ranch and vegan mayo.
Slutty Vegan, which has seen explosive growth since its beginnings in 2018 as a delivery service and then a food truck, currently has three shops in Atlanta, so this is a rare opportunity for New Yorkers to taste what they've been missing.
The sandwich will be available in-store at the Harlem location (1 W 125th St and Fifth Ave), through pickup on Shake Shack's website, or pickup and delivery via the Shack app in Harlem.
The Harlem collaboration was originally planned for April of this year but was postponed due to Covid.
Proceeds from the SluttyShack collaboration will be donated to ROAR, an organization helping the NYC restaurant industry.
