ROKC now offers its cocktails to-go

Its legions of fans have been waiting with bated breath, and now the day is finally here: ramen and cocktails specialist ROKC at 3452 Broadway (and 141st Street) in Hamilton Heights has reopened for takeout and delivery.

The food menu has a few notable additions, including two types of rice bowls: one features pork belly and the other Japanese-style fried (karaage) chicken.

ROKC's famous cocktails, from its smoky take on the old fashioned to its flowery version of the cosmopolitan, are now to-go and come in branded bottles. The drinks menu also includes sake, wine and beer.

There are three ways to order: If you're in the area, you can simply can walk in and order directly from the counter. Or head to the restaurant's Instagram page, which has buttons that allow you to order via phone (332-217-8755) or Grubhub.

Picking up in person is highly recommended as stylish details still abound: the tables and chairs have been beautifully swept aside, and a clear shower curtain with a cut-out square in the middle separates customers from the fashionably masked staff behind the bar, which remains strung with lights.

It's one of the most stylish adaptations to the new normal you're likely to see.
