Donated meals from Barcha in East Harlem

Thanks to generous donations from people like you, a number of Harlem restaurants have started delivering free meals and more to health care workers at local neighborhood hospitals like Harlem Hospital, Mount Sinai, Metropolitan Hospital, and New York York Presbyterian.

2241 First Ave between E 115th and E 116th Sts

This family-owned East Harlem restaurant has begun delivering meals to Mount Sinai and Metropolitan Hospital. Head to their Instagram page for instructions on how to donate.



109 Malcolm X Blvd between W 115th and W 116th Sts

Thanks to contributions from around the country, so far this rice bowl shop has delivered food to more than 800 health care workers at six local hospitals as well as children in shelters. Head here to help.


129 E 102nd St and Lexington Ave

This East Harlem coffee shop is delivering fresh coffee and pastries to a different hospital every day. Send them a DM via Instagram or email.


85 E 125th St and Park Ave

With the help of donations, this East Harlem juice company has been sending bottles of its refreshing ginger tonic to Harlem Hospital. Donate here.


177 E 100th St between Lexington and Third Aves

This Belgian mousse bar is planning to send ten "treat packages" (each has 3 lattes/iced coffees and 3 mousse cups) to two local hospitals every day. Buy one and they will send two.
