New York is on a mission to improve access to public bathrooms across the city.

As part of a new initiative called "Ur in Luck," Mayor Eric Adams just announced the city would be building 46 new restrooms over the next five years as well as offering a new layer on Google Maps that reveals all the existing public bathrooms in NYC.

The new interactive map shows restrooms across city parks, libraries, public plazas, privately-owned public spaces, and transit.

They include seven new restrooms in NYC Parks that have opened in the last five months, two of which are located in Upper Manhattan.

The two new facilities can be found in the Frederick Johnson Playground in Harlem (Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd and W 151st St) and the Highbridge Park Adventure Playground in Washington Heights (Edgecombe Ave and W 164th St).
