After more than 30 years of doing business in a large open-air lot on 116th Street, the Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Market has closed its gates and moved to a temporary new indoor space around the block. The African market, now located at 121 Malcolm X Boulevard (Lenox Avenue) near 116th Street, made the planned move in the middle of January to clear the way for affordable housing. Rows of
