Throw on a scarf and lace up your skates because ice skating season kicks off this weekend at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park. Opening day is Saturday, November 8, weather permitting. Going forward, the NHL-size covered outdoor rink will have two sessions per day on Saturdays and Sundays, plus one session on Fridays, according to the sign posted by the park (see below). Hours are as follows: Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm, 6pm-9pm Fridays 6pm-9pm Holidays 11am-2pm, 3pm-6pm
